This policy explains how Jane's App handles information, including Google account and Google Calendar data used to provide AI calendar-management features.
Effective August 12, 2026
1. About Jane's App
Jane's App is an AI calendar management agent. With your permission, it connects to Google Calendar so it can answer questions about your schedule and perform calendar actions you request, such as creating, updating, organizing, or deleting events.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the features you authorize and use, we may collect or process:
- Basic Google account information, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.
- Google OAuth authorization information, including access and refresh tokens used to maintain the connection you approve.
- Google Calendar information needed to provide requested features, which may include calendar names, event titles and descriptions, dates and times, locations, attendees, recurrence information, availability, conference links, and event identifiers.
- Instructions, questions, and feedback you submit to Jane's App.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, diagnostic data, and security logs.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you; connect Jane's App to the Google services you authorize; understand your schedule; answer calendar-related questions; perform calendar actions you request; maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the service; communicate about support or material service changes; and comply with applicable law.
Jane's App does not sell personal information or Google user data. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, to create advertising profiles, or to train general-purpose AI models.
4. Google API data and Limited Use
Jane's App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing calendar-management functionality you request. Human access to Google user data is limited to situations where you give explicit permission, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, access is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
5. How information is shared
We may share information with infrastructure, hosting, security, database, and AI-processing providers only as necessary to operate Jane's App and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. Calendar information may also be sent to Google when Jane's App performs an authorized Calendar action.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not transfer Google user data to data brokers or for personalized advertising.
6. Storage, retention, and security
We retain account information, authorization credentials, instructions, and relevant service records only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Jane's App, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Calendar data may be processed transiently or retained when needed to provide a feature you request. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can revoke Jane's App's Google access at any time through your Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents future API access but does not automatically delete information already retained by Jane's App.
To request access, correction, or deletion of your Jane's App account and associated personal information, email accounts@propaganda.now. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Cookies and logs
Jane's App may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and basic service operation. Server logs may record technical information used for reliability and abuse prevention.
9. Third-party services
Jane's App relies on services such as Google and Vercel. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make their practices part of this policy.
10. Children
Jane's App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.
11. International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. We apply safeguards required by applicable law.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will post updates here and revise the effective date. For privacy questions or data requests, contact accounts@propaganda.now.
